About

Welcome to
POI.

The women in business community where relationships come first.

POI is a members-only community for women in business across Glasgow and Edinburgh.

We believe the best business relationships aren't built by meeting someone once, swapping business cards and hoping something comes from it.

They're built by showing up, spending time together and getting to know one another.

That's why POI is members only.

Our community is designed around seeing the same women regularly, allowing genuine friendships to form, trust to grow and opportunities to happen naturally.

Because when you really know the people in the room, referrals feel natural, collaborations make sense and business follows.

More than networking.

POI brings women together twice every month through a mix of social, business and business strategy events.

Some events are about learning and growing your business. Others are about having great conversations, sharing ideas or simply enjoying being around brilliant women who understand the world you're navigating.

There's no pressure to pitch yourself or work the room.

Come as you are. Get to know people. Let relationships do the rest.

Who is POI for?

POI is for all women in business.

You might run your own company, be building something from the ground up, work within an established business or be growing your career.

Your industry doesn't matter.

What matters is the person behind the business and your willingness to be part of the community.

We deliberately bring women from different industries, backgrounds and stages of business together because some of the best conversations, ideas and collaborations come from meeting people outside your usual circle.

The Story So Far

From one room
to three cities.

The idea

A community for women in business that felt like a society, not a seminar. Somewhere honest, ambitious and genuinely warm.

Glasgow

The first POI events sell out in Glasgow: a room full of founders who finally found their people.

Edinburgh

The society crosses the M8. Edinburgh's chapter launches with the same energy and its own community.

POI Unfiltered

The podcast launches, taking the honest conversations from the events out to everyone.

Stirling (soon)

City number three is on its way. The waitlist is open.

What we stand for

The society's values.

Honesty first

Real numbers, real struggles, real wins. We leave the highlight reel at the door.

Community over competition

There is no race. Another woman's win is proof it's possible, not a threat.

Show up

In person, on purpose. Relationships are built in rooms, not inboxes.

Ambition, unapologetically

We're here to build businesses of influence, and we're not shy about it.

What happens when you join POI?

You become part of a community where people actually get to know you.

Over time, that means support when you need it, friendships you didn't expect, people who recommend you, introductions that open doors, collaborations that make sense and business that happens naturally.

Not because you've perfected your elevator pitch.

Because people know you. They trust you. And they want to see you succeed.

Come for the events.
Stay for the people.

POI isn't about collecting contacts.

It's about building a circle of women you genuinely know, and who genuinely know you.

Friendship. Support. Collaboration. Referrals. Business.

It all starts with being in the room.
